We agree with the fact that women have more rights than years ago, but this happens in the western hemisphere, while in Arab countries ,for example, women can’t work or even show their bodies (we are not talking about exhibition, just showing their arms, legs or neck) in public.
Maybe we don’t realize the gravity of this fact because it is not near, and it is normal for us (women) to have the kind of life that we like and choose. But… can you imagine how awful could be not having the control of your life? What you wear, the places you can go, the man who will be your husband, etc. These are decisions that those poor women are not able to make!
Anyway, coming back to our side of the world we also think that there are differences between men and women. There are special jobs for men or women such as bus drivers or teachers. Even when there are exceptions, it is more common to find a female kindergarten teacher and a male bus driver. Maybe that’s not bad, men and women shouldn’t be exactly the same, there are differences that are important to have, because it is a reality that men are stronger and are able to do other kinds of jobs but it is just how it is, and perhaps there are more important things to talk about or worry nowadays!
